Allergy Policy

All catering is undertaken on the same surfaces and areas, we do our best to accommodate allergies and food preferences by preparing all food items separately and by appropriately sanitising surfaces, utensils and hands, etc. However, we are unable to guarantee our products are 100% free from particular allergens, e.g. nuts, egg, dairy, etc.

Note: There may be traces of nuts, gluten, dairy and egg in our products, so ordering boxes is at your own risk.

Catering Boxes Refund Policy

Due to the types of perishable products used in Catering Boxes, we do not provide a refund.

Once ordered, if you have a change of mind or a cancellation is required, you must notify us at least 48 hours prior to the order's due date and a credit note will be issued.

If you don't provide 48 hours notice to Phat Platter, a credit note WILL NOT be provided.

Booking Fee

A 25% booking fee of your total invoice is required within 3 days of receiving the invoice to secure the date, booking fees are non-refundable. If you are booking the week of your event full payment is required within 24 hours.

The remaining 75% of the invoice is required 7 days prior to the event date.

Postponing/Wet Weather

If planning an outdoor event, all bookings must have a wet weather/extreme heat alternative undercover option. If you are having trouble finding an alternative venue we can assist to find you the perfect solution.

Postponing an event will encounter a 25% booking fee that is non-refundable. We only accept postponement up to 7 days prior to an event date. If you choose to postpone within 7 days of the event, we consider this a cancellation.

Cancellations

Cancellations within 7 days of your event will unfortunately mean 100% of the booking becoming non-refundable.

Covid and Other Extreme Circumstances

Given the case there is a Covid outbreak or an extreme circumstance resulting in a cancellation, we allow a refund of 87.5% up to 3 days prior to the event. Anything less than 3 days will not be eligible for a refund and will lose total payment.

Breakages

In the event of any breakages of our items, the client is liable and will be charged for the replacement cost of the item.

Travel Fees

All bookings require a set up travel fee of $1.75 per km.

We travel to all surrounding areas from the Central Coast.

GROUP BOOKING

Class Booking Fee

A booking fee is required to secure the time and date of your class, and this booking fee is non-refundable.

The remaining outstanding amount will be invoiced to you on finalisation of all details five business days after booking. Full payment is required 14 days prior to the class date.

If you book within 9 days of your event, full payment is required immediately upon receiving the invoice.

Venue

Studio Lane Venue Hire

If you would like us to book Studio Lane, Erina on your behalf, a venue hire fee of $200.00 for 2 hours is applicable. We will confirm the date with Studio Lane and you will be billed separately. The venue hire fee is 100% non-refundable within 14 days of the Masterclass date.

Private Venue of Your Choice

If using a private venue of your choice, it must be located on the Central Coast. Venue must provide an undercover area in the event of wet weather. There must be an appropriate working area for the attendees, a cheese display/tasting area and, ideally, a sink on hand.

All private venue bookings will incur a travel fee of $1.50 per km. Travel within a 5 km radius of Wamberal is free.

Postponement

We only accept postponement up to 14 days before your Masterclass date. Postponement of your Masterclass will incur a 50% postponement fee that is non-refundable, and we will retain your online booking fee as payment.

A new date will need to be chosen and confirmed by Phat Platter (and Studio Lane if necessary), and a revised quote will be submitted to you.

If you choose to postpone within 14 days of your class, this is considered a cancellation. Please see the information below relating to cancellations .

Platter Masterclass Party T&Cs

Individual Class Booking

All Individual bookings required a full payment secure the time and date of your class.

Not able to attend ?? If you can not attend your masterclass booked we requier 14 days notice. You will be issued a credit for a future Masterclass.

Cancelation within 14 days will incure no refund or credit.

Classes need to have a minimum of 8 people for the masterclass date to go ahead we will be in touch if the date chosen does not meet this requirment.
